Care for body and mind where it's needed most

AWB offers trauma-informed, integrative care to people who have experienced physical or emotional trauma. Think of refugees who have survived war, loss, dangerous migration, or exclusion—also because of their sexual orientation or identity. Using ear acupuncture, we help people regain peace and resilience.

What we do

In our free clinics, primarily held in emergency shelters, we offer support to people suffering from the effects of trauma. Our ear acupuncture treatments help with:

  • reducing physical and psychological pain

  • improving sleep

  • restoring inner peace

  • increasing resilience, hope, focus, and clarity

To date, we have performed over 6,000 treatments—completely free and accessible to anyone who needs help.

Our care is made possible by a dedicated team of professional and certified acupuncturists, student acupuncturists, and volunteers who are passionately committed to helping people in the Netherlands find their way back home.

Please contact us if you would like more information on training or setting up a mobile clinic.
